    Hallo, nieuw op dit forum.

    Ik heb sinds januari 2022 meerder aanvallen gehad, begonnen na mijn booster prik. Inmiddels op de wachtlijst voor een ablatie.
    Wat mij opvalt is het min of meer cyclische karakter van de aanvallen. Jaap S noemde het ook al: Alsof zich iets opbouwt in je systeem wat gedurende een aanval weer wordt “ontladen”.

    Hallo Theo,

    Misschien goed om je carioloog nog wat meer toelichting te vragen over het afraden van ablatie. Er zijn inmiddels nieuwe technieken op de markt, zoals “Pulsed Field Ablation”. In de “CABANA” studie is ablatie vergeleken met medicijnen en ik heb vernomen dat ablatie daar positief uit kwam.

    Hallo, nieuw hier op het forum. Sinds januari, na mijn booster, meerdere aanvallen van atriumfibrilleren. Sta nu in de wachtrij voor ablatie in het Catharina Ziekenhuis Eindhoven.
    De cardioloog heeft me de procedure uitgelegd en de catheter die hij tekende was een “klavertje 5”, lijkt dus heel erg op de PFA catheter.

    Hi Frans,

    Heel erg bedankt voor jouw reactie. Yoga lijkt me een hele goede inderdaad. Ik moet eerlijk toegeven dat ik te weinig ruimte inbouw voor rust in de vorm van meditatie of yoga.

    Fijn om te horen dat de ablatie het gewenste effect heeft gehad!

    Hallo, ik ben Ini ben 72 jr.heb al 13 jaar AF. Ik heb wel meer dan 35x ECV’s gehad. Ik heb 3x een ablatie gehad waarvan 2x PVI, daarna periodes van 6 mnd.waarin geen aanvallen meer en van de medicatie af. Daarna kwamen de aanvallen weer terug.     Sinds pakweg 2 maand slik ik L-Glutamine 2 keer 10 mg. Aangezien ik veel fitness en spiergroei heb, merk in mijn lichaam dat mijn hart soms wat “krampt” en sterker fibrilleert.     Bij AF is er een verhoogde kans op hartfalen en bloedstolsels die kunnen leiden tot een herseninfarct. Bij cardioversie moet je 3 weken van tevoren bloedverdunners – in mijn geval Xarelto Roxiban 20 mg- ingenomen hebben.     Hallo , krijg na 1 keer minimaze en 4 catheter ablaties over ongeveer 2 maanden een pulsedfield ablatie in umcg Groningen,
    zouden kijken of dit nog een slagingskans zou hebben en anders een hisablatie met definitieve pacemaker.
