    In mijn familie lijden 4 van de 8 kinderen in de leeftijd van 67 tot 76 jaar aan het fenomeen van Raynaud. Dat hebben we van mijn vader geërfd.
    Wat opvalt is dat wij allle vier later last kregen van boezemfibrilleren en ook alle vier in mindere en meerdere mate een mitraleskleplekkage.

    Ik heb sinds het begin van de overgang last van AF. Ik heb 6 jaar geleden meegedaan aan een onderzoek van Erasmus ziekenhuis waaruit bleek dat mijn AF samenvalt met sterke schommelingen in de hormonen (zoals moment van ovulatie).
